ENT08101 INTERIM PRESENTATION BRIEF SHEET

Week 7

Instructions:

You Group is required to present an oral presentation in week 7 to the rest of the class. This should consist of a 7 minute presentation and use a maximum of 5 PowerPoint slides.

You need to cover in the presentation:

1. The name of the organisation and the main interviewee you will interview for your report.

2. Background to the company, company size, location, etc.

3. Indicate why the company was chosen? For example, is it a company you wish to work in when you graduate? Do you have evidence already the company is innovative? What other companies was your group considering and why did you decide not to look at those? What issues do you think your group may face completing the research?

4. Report your current status with regards to completing the module coursework. You need to indicate:

a. The expected interview date

b. Secondary information sources found - books, websites, etc.

c. What is left to do and how it will be done, time frame/scheduled dates, etc. (Please use a Gantt chart on your slides for this*).

d. Any other relevant points you know about the company, e.g. you already work there. The owner is a family member, etc.

Important additional Information:

1. Your presentation should be based on the company you will be doing your report on– Each group member should make a contribution to the presentation (approximately 2 minutes each).

Please note: The Interim assessment is worth 10% of your final module mark.
