iPhone5 and HTC One

​In this day and age, technology is high in demand. The most used devices are cell phones. There are all kinds of cell phones, but most people use smart phones. With smart phones the user will have everything found in different devices, all in the palm of their hand. They can use the internet whenever and wherever they want, play games, have the device speak to them, play music or movies, and even have a video conference. Two of the most common devices used are iPhones and Androids. The latest is the iPhone5 and the HTC One. Both types of phones have similarities and differences, such as their features, apps, and design of the phone.

​With an iPhone5, it differs more from the HTC One because of the design of the phone. It’s sleeker. With every color of the iPhone5, it has a smooth two-toned back plate. It is much more light weight than the HTC One and also smaller in width. The phone has a lock/unlock button and also a home screen button for the user to enter their phone, which makes it easier for them to access it, if it goes in sleep mode. Its built-in camera is at the top left corner on the back of the phone and the front camera is located in the top center.

​On one hand, the HTC One’s design is unique as well, but comes less of a plus for the buyer. The phone can only turn on/off or lock/unlock with its top button, because it home icon button on the bottom of the screen doesn’t work unless the phone is already unlocked. The phone’s width and weight is much wider and heaver than the iPhone5’s. A huge plus of the phone is that it comes with two speakers on the front of the phone to make a better sounding device when playing music or watching a movie. The built-in camera is located in the back center of the phone and it front camera is on the top right corner.
