Abstract

IRTC Manufacturing Enterprises has decided to make some recent upgrades to its billing system. The implementation of this new software should help to improve the customer service that IRTC is able to offer as well as streamline some of the processes that are presently in place with regard to billing. The purpose of this document is to evaluate both the positions as well as potential candidates for the project management team. This document will actually establish the responsibilities of each role, identify the skill that are necessary to fulfill each position, as well as determine the best candidate for each role.

Introduction

There are countless responsibilities that go along with being a project manager. One of the more important tasks is to ensure that the working environment as well as the team assembled will be capable of producing the desired outcome with regard to the specific task at hand. As a project manager it is important to have a firm grasp on exactly what will be expected, from deadlines to performance requirements. With that in mind it becomes necessary to be very clear about the designated responsibilities for the positions: end user, business analyst, and team leader. The project manager must also be able to evaluate the skill set of various candidates and determine if they are qualified to assume any of the roles.

End User

The end user role resembles that of a tester, however, it can also assume various roles they could ideally lead to the actual stakeholders involved with the project. An end user has an understanding of the software and what will be required once it is actually implemented.
