FINANCIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF PAKISTANI ENTREPRENEURS: A SURVEY OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND FINANCE RELATED PEOPLE

This research focuses on thirty topics related to finance that are usually a part of syllabus in universities. The students of final year and faculty are categorized into two groups of finance and entrepreneurship. Both of the groups evaluated every single topic according to its degree of relevance for entrepreneurs. The entire thirty finance related topics are measured at minimum “Fairly Important” by both of the groups and majority of the topics are measured at “Moderately Important”. Though several dissimilarities also occurred between the entrepreneurship and finance related people. Out of sixteen finance topics the participants related to entrepreneurship sensed five topics statistically significant and finance related participants sensed eleven topics statistically significant than the other. INTRODUCTION According to the estimated figures 63% of Pakistani population lies under the age of 25 (United Nations Development Programme Pakistan, 2007). In this way we have a huge lot of working class in our country which can also be called as the demographic dividend of Pakistan. Contrary to that there is a jobless market in this region. This working class can utilize their skills in their own business and to be highly effective and efficient they need proper education regarding entrepreneurship.
