Learning Team "C's" Progress Summary for Week Two

The following is Team C’s progress summary and breakdown for week three’s “Equal-employment Opportunity Laws” section of the Employee Handbook. As a team, we have decided to break the assignment into equal sections, with each team member working on and completing one to two bullet points. Amanda Shatto will complete the first two bullets (pertaining to the nondiscrimination issues that must be addressed and what the organization’s position should be in response to these issues), LaCinda Reese will complete the next two bullets (pertaining to how the nondiscrimination policy and health and safety laws might impact the organizations liability, and how these policies might impact the employees as well), Stephanie Wiseman will complete the next bullet (pertaining to how we will address state and federal laws regarding nondiscrimination and health and safety laws in our handbook section), and Marie will complete the last two bullets (pertaining to some ethical considerations involved in the design of these sections, and what criminal law issues we need to consider in relationship to equal-employment opportunity laws and health and safety laws, as well as our responsibility to criminal laws). Once all the bullets have been posted Stephanie will compile the final draft of the paper, complete with an introduction and conclusion, and then post it for final review and approval by the rest of the team. We have used this method in the past and it has served us well. This team has worked together in several other classes and has learned how to effectively communicate with each other and how each team member functions.
