CHAPTER 1

THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Introduction

Nowadays, one of the problems encountered by our country is energy crisis. Although we have a plenty of power plant in our country but is not enough to provide our need. To fulfill this shortage we find an alternative of sources of energy by experimenting or researching any renewable materials that can convert or transform it into electrical energy.

Renewable energy is energy that comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves and geothermal heat. About 16% of global final energy consumption comes from renewable resources, with 10% of all energy from traditional biomass, mainly used for heating, and 3.4% from hydroelectricity. New renewables (small hydro, modern biomass, wind, solar, geothermal, and biofuels) accounted for another 3% and are growing very rapidly. The share of renewables in electricity generation is around 19%, with 16% of electricity coming from hydroelectricity and 3% from new renewables. There are many types of renewable resources here in earth and one of this Electrolysis.

People demand for an electrical power due to their needs such as operating their appliances and other electrical concerns that need power. The problem that the proponents are concerned of it is that some people live in areas so remote or distant that supply of electricity cannot reach them by one reason or another. Another concern is the unexpected interruption of power in both urban and rural areas. The main concern; however, is the rapidly increasing cost of electric...
