Apple Inc. analysis

Introduction

Apple Inc. was founded in 1976 by Steven Wozniak and Steven Jobs, Headquartered in Cupertino, California. It is engaged in design, development and marketing of personal computers, media devices, and portable music devices. Apple's Apple II in the 1970s contributed to the personal computer revolution, the subsequent Macintosh relay Apple II sustainably developed since 1980s. The company also sells a variety of related software, services, networking solutions, third party digital content and applications such as iPod digital music player and iTunes music store. It is famous for innovation in high-tech enterprises.

Apple has many powerful competitors. Since Apple has products selling multiple product lines, such as iPad, iPhone, which make Apple needs to face more competitors compare with other companies. For example, Dell, HP and Samsung compete with it in a notebook market, at same time there is Sony Philips in MP3 market compete with it. In mobile phone market there is Blackberry, Samsung, HTC and other rival. Those powerful competitors cannot be ignored which have fast growth rate and shared a large market.

Low-cost high imitation companies seize the low-end market. High imitation company is the later movers who imitate quite similar form and function of popular regular phone in the market as pirated mobile phones companies. There is a “hiPhone 5” which is selling much cheaper than IPhone 5 on Chinese website. Because the price of the imitation is much lower than genuine phone which bring certain market space to those company also bring loss to genuine enterprises.

Government departments are encouraging the development of the IT industry, there will be more electronics manufacturers appear to divide Apple's product market. Apple's timely follow-up is particularly important.
