What is Boto Mo, iPatrol Mo: Ako ang Simula (BMPM)?

BMPM is ABS-CBN's citizen journalism campaign.  Patrollers are registered citizen journalists, active supporters of ABS-CBN's Ako Ang Simula movement.  Being a registered Patroller signifies a commitment to responsible citizen journalism, a pledge to inform others about events you witness in your community.  Being a Patroller may also make you eligible for Patroller-only events and promotions.

Patrollers can use their mobile phones, camcorders, digital cameras, computers or any gadget or gizmo to record and post their reports on the website created exclusively for their use.  Their reports may also be used for news stories that will come out on newscasts in ABS-CBN Channel 2, ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC), Studio 23, DZMM Teleradyo, and ABS-CBN’s Regional & Global Stations, as well as posted online at www.abs-cbnnews.com and printed on our broadsheet partners The Philippine Star and Business World.

What is a Patroller?

A Patroller is a citizen journalist who has signed up to be a part of BMPM.  Registering to be a Patroller signifies a commitment to the mission of BMPM, and may make you eligible for certain Patroller-only events and promotions.  When you register, you will receive a Patroller ID, which will help the BMPM staff identify you when you submit a report or attend BMPM events.
