The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens: IRA Report By: Celestial Krzyston

1. The main points of this story are the 7 habits the first being be proactive, second begin with the end in mind, third put first things first, fourth think win-win, fifth seek first to understand then to be understood, habit 6 synergize, and last but not least sharpen the saw.

Habit 1-Be Proactive means if you want anything to change you have to start with yourself. “Small changes can make huge destination differences.” ― Sean Covey, The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective Teens." Habit 2-Begin with the end in mind it's saying figure out your goals, your values. Habit 3-Put First things first it wants you to plan, prioritize, and figure out your most important assignments or jobs. Habit 4- Think Win-Win making sure you have the right attitude not "Oh I'm so sorry" or "you better be sorry" it's sort of in the middle. Habit 5-Seek first to understand then to be understood what they are trying to say here is don't try and fix a problem until you know what is really wrong. Habit 7 Sharpen the Saw this means that you need to work together, so that way you are never alone.

The author Sean Covey wrote this book in order for teens to get through those rough moments and just have a field guide to a better life. “We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.” ― Sean Covey I think he was very successful in the way he created this book he sold over 2 million copies he has helped a lot of teenagers. He made me think if I was doing things right.

3. Some strengths of this book would be that he made it interesting with cartoons and poems. I liked the way he put in the stories of actual teens and how they felt and acted. He made this book in a very inspiring way. He never let you get board if he was talking about a long subject and you were starting to slip away, he would pull...
