For any company the important objective is to get their objective to find a way to get their product to the customer in a way that makes it convenient to purchase. This paper will discuss the various methods available to the company and some alternative methods not considered before. (Mullins & Walker, 2013)

Considerations for Distribution

Your distribution activities need to revolve around getting the product to the customer where and when it is needed. The channel of distribution is how the organization directs the flow from the distribution center to the customer. Items to consider in making your product accessible to the buyer include:

• When the customer wants to make the purchase.

• Where the customer will make the purchase.

• How long it will take the customer to take possession.

Therefore, it is important to remember that making your product accessible to buyers takes time and planning. This planning involves wholesalers, retailers, sales people, and more, all interdependent on each other to get the product/service to the consumer. ("Reference for Business," 2013)

As was stated before the channels of distribution is either simple or complex. Simple distribution is a single demand and a single source of distribution. Whereas, complex distribution falls under a multi-channeled approach where there are multiple products, with multiple paths to get the product to the consumer. ("Reference for Business," 2013)
