1. According to me importance of employee benefits as a strategic component of fulfilling the goals of human resource management is essential because human resources are present to help employees to gain more out of their job and help organizations in achieving success by resolving issues between them and employees. If all employees are receiving their full benefits then human resources management is achieving their goals effectively. Human resources is placed in placed to make sure all the benefits offered by employers are affective and motivating employees to give their best for the organization gather the heights of success. If the benefits offered to employees are not acceptable enough for them they are prone to accepting better offers that come their way quicker than they perform their duties at their jobs. A little appreciation towards their service in a form of compensation will be accepted whole heartedly by employees than rises in their pay because all they want is praise for their work. If human resources management is able to provide all the required benefits to the employees they will never be disheartened and discouraged. For example, if an employee is gathering the most sales for an organization then human resources must provide the benefits of worker’s compensation or bonus to such employee to promote handwork in future by all the other employees of the organization. Although, organizations are providing benefits to their employees unhappily due to economic crisis it will eventually gather more profits to their income. This motivation leads to a progressive working environment in our society.

2. Genentech and Zappos are using employee benefits as a motivating tool that keep them focused on the goals of the success of the company. According to our book some of the benefits offered to employees in order to motivate them are bonuses, onsite lunch, treating them with respect and onsite childcare. The...
