MEMORANDUM FOR 1SG BROWN

SUBJECT: The Importance of Following Orders.

1. I am writing this RBI because I did not do ask I was told by my teamleader, which means I disobeyed a lawful order.

2. I honestly had no intentions on disobeying a lawful order purposfully. For the last 6 months, I have been under a lot of pressure. When all the pressure came everything started to fall apart in my personal an professional life. It initially started from no sleep due to me constantly trying to find ways to fix what is wrong in my relationship. Then I started having very detailed dreams bout my deployment, there were multiple time I would wake up:sweating, breathing hard amongst other things. The things from the house bagan to effect my work proformance. I couldn’t stay while at work, An when I was awake I didn’t have the ability to do much because my body was too tired. I had to make a decision to either put my attention on one or the other. I made my decision, in my personal opinnion it was a great decision. Where I made the mistake is that once I got my personal life moving somewhat in the right direction I stuck with it to make sure it stays on coarse instead of switching my attention back to my professional life. In the later paragraphs I will be speaking on The Importance of Following Orders.

3. When you enlist into the US Armed Forces (active or reserve) you take this oath: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”
