SUBJECT : Decision report on zero wage increase and recommended action plan
Please find attached herewith the report on analysis of current situatuion the company is facing with the zero wage increase. The report also consists of the options available to solve the problem with detailed analysis of each option with the recommendation.
I recommend the company to identify performers amongst all employees by having proper performance appraisal system and give wage increase to them.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
HHH is a hardware, furniture and building store. The company was in a situation whether to provide wage increase to his employees. Due to economic downturn in the market the profit level was also very less. The company could find employees in store who were self-motivated and dedicated in doing the work. The company could also find some of the employees who were under performing. Company’s main objective was whether they should increase wages for the performers with available options, keeping in mind the various consequences of their decision on other employees.
My recommendation is to provide performance pay to the deserving employees through proper performance appraisal system.
