Develop Goals

The objective of our school improvement plan for Chesapeake Middle School is to carry out our school mission of academic excellence and focus on our student’s character by delivering quality education to our students. Our school plan is being constructed to comply with the requirements of the Chesapeake Ohio School District and the Ohio Improvement Process Plan. The Ohio Department of Education's plan guidelines were developed by utilizing a State Support Team and utilizing the resources of the Title I Federal requirements.  Our new improvement plan will also encourage and help our students to meet the standards of the No Child Left Behind Act.  The Chesapeake School is ready for the challenge of the new school improvement plans and is committed to working collaboratively for the effort of achieving the goals for school improvement. In the effort to improve our reading and math testing goals we will implement Aims Web Reading and Math Fluency Probes are some of the programs that will be used in the classrooms. The administration and staff will continually strive to keep the goals that have been implemented in our new plan and have the assurance that they will comply with the Ohio Improvement Process action plan that has been set forth for the State of Ohio.

Reading Improvement Plan
