The ability to read and write is more and more important now than before?

Lots of people argue about the important of the read and write ability. Because their different life experience, life styles and educational level, all of them have their personal point of view about this question. Some people support the social improvement are making the read and write ability become less and less important than before. But from my personal viewpoint I support the ability to read and write is more and more important in today’s life. And here are few reasons to explain why I suppose this idea.

First of all, the read and write skills are used more often in today’s life. With the improvement of basic educational system, students need to have better skills of writing to show their opinion and the high levels of the reading ability for their study. Just as my personal experience, with the growth of the study levels, the teachers are always to ask me have a higher writing and reading level to help me understand some professional academic articles and write essays to get finish of the score. Also the score always prove that students need the good ability to read and write to get great score and even in their math study.

Secondly, more and more jobs in today need a high level of the writing and reading ability. In today, the manual work is more instead by the different kinds of machines and people are more work in the office. It is not hard to understand why people put the writing and reading skills in a more important ways, and this two skills are almost use in every minutes when they do their work. Just as a research results also can prove this. The academic research from the education magazine show about 23percent people think the reading ability is used most often in their work, and about 34 percent of people support the writing skill is the most important skill that be used in their work.
