Introduction

Jewellery design is always influenced by the times [ (Susan 1995) ]. It depicts many aspect of the cultural environment such as fashion, trends history, religion, aesthetic values, economic and politics at that era [ (Browne and Browne 2001) ]. Contemporary jewellery is “a type of practice that understood as the contemporary offspring of a craft-based design activity that finds its origin in medieval workshops” [ (Benjamin 2006) ]. Bohemian style jewellery is one of the important contemporary designs in 21st century inspired by India and the European “Bohemian” culture. It holds “Primitivistic,” folk and ethnic elements which are significant to contemporary jewellery design, for instance, large hoop earrings, bracelets with attached rings [ (Browne and Browne 2001) ]. On the other hand, hippie style jewellery inspired by non-western cultures is prominent trends and fashion prior to 1960s.
