Ans. Titan Industries operates in Fashion Sector. Its main products are watches, Sunglasses and Jewelry under the brand name of Titan, Fastrack and Tanishq. In the segment of watches, the company holds a domestic market share of 60% of the organized market. The company has pan India Operations. The company’s headquarter is at Bengaluru and registered office at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The company has recently repositioned itself by changing its company name from Titan Industries to Titan Company Limited. It has also introduced a new logo along with a new tag line. In domestic level the company has five competitors mainly Timex, Citizen, Espirit, Casio and Quartz. At international level it competes with Rado, Tissot, DKNY and Swatch. The revenue of the company mainly comes from jewelry and Watches. Jewelry segment and watch segments comprises of approximately 79.44% and 16.42% of revenue, respectively. The profits in Jewelry and Watch Segments are 11% and 12% respectively. The capital employed by company in watches and Jewelry is Rs.670.56 Cr and Rs. 967.50 Crores respectively.
