Abstract

This paper will conclude the marketing plan for my fictitious company Tall Cedars. In this paper I will summarize the marketing plan and provide the company’s mission statement and company introduction. This paper will also provide the company’s branding, pricing, and distribution plan. In this paper I will provide the IMC and customer satisfaction plan. Finally, this paper will discuss the company’s competitors, its strengths and weaknesses, how it plans to differentiate between its competitors, how it plans to be the leader in the industry, asses macro-environmental issues, and identify the most significant trend that impact the business.

Executive Summary Of Marketing Plan

What is your idea of a dream vacation? Have you taken what you consider to be a dream vacation? Traveling has always been a favorite hobby of mine. As I’ve grown older or “seasoned”, I like vacationing in a quiet atmosphere. Thus my company I’ve chosen is in the tourism and hospitality market. It will not be family oriented. Tall Cedars resort and Spa will make one feel like a king or queen. A resort can be defined as a place for relaxation or recreation, attracting visitors for vacations and /or tourism (ask.com, 2013). Our marketing plan includes increasing visitation by 10 percent over each new year (azot.gov, 2013). We intend to make Tall Cedars Resort the leader in the tourism and hospitality industry. With our R&D department we plan to listen to what our quests are looking for in a dream vacation. Using surveys and on-line responses this will help further our marketing plan.
