THE INTERNET AS A NECESSITY

Technology has been a part of humanity for as long as one can remember. From the simple club to the 50-caliber anti infantry gun. In all the years that technology has been present with man, none have been so significant within our lives than now. Likewise, one of these technologies is the internet, it is a utility rather than a survival item where one can acquire knowledge, interact with other individuals and find entertainment and to add, one can also share their knowledge as well. Before the arrival of the internet, children used to go outdoors and play with other children. However, when introduced to them children now tend to be more introverted and spent more time indoors in the internet. This goes to show just how the internet can drastically affect ones life, both positively and negatively. Although the internet can move an individual into staying indoors, it also yields some advantages, some of them include convenience, such as how one can just reply from a mail or message digitally and instantly like google mail, instead of buying an envelope, writing on a paper and not to mention that the post office won't accept it if there is no stamp, and the best part is you can message someone for free! Perhaps one of the things that makes the internet so handy is that one can type in their questions or, perhaps the definition of a word on a search engine then the internet sends you countless results instantly, one can find almost anything on the internet! Likewise because of this one does not need to go to the library and search the books, it is more convenient to just type and search within the comfort of ones own home, however the knowledge one can find in the internet cannot be trusted sometimes as most people can access and edit the information within the internet.
