Our society and culture are continuously changing and evolving as different generations come up with their own different trends and practices. One of the many issues that affect all societies across the globe and that is present until now is teenage pregnancy. If you ask most parents you would here answers like they got married at an early age or before they were even married, the woman already had a baby inside her womb. So this issue is not much of a surprise because it already existed a long time ago especially during the time where kings and queens were held as the highest position in a certain area. I remember watching a show on National Geographic about women, rather teenage girls already getting married and pregnant as early as twelve years old. Back then, arranged marriages were prominent because of certain reasons, for example, to preserve royal blood in the family or save a kingdom who is currently experiencing a crisis and many more. You are consider a teenage mom if you have a baby at the age of I guess eleven to nineteen. For me, ages eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen and fifteen are much too young compared to ages sixteen and above. Maybe because hearing rumors or news about girls getting pregnant at the age of sixteen and above usually, we tend get used to it already.

There are plenty of factors that contribute to teenage pregnancy, one is invincibility. When a person reaches the pre-adolescent or the "teenage" stage, they tend to feel invincible because during this period we are given the opportunity to explore new horizons, find out more about ourselves, our identity, mingle with different kinds of people, plan out our future and determine our purpose in life. It is the most fun stage or period in everyone's life. Our bodies are going through different changes ad we have all the time and energy to do whatever we want, the sky is the limit.
