Change Management Plans: CrysTel

In order to maintain a competitive advantage and financial viability, organizations must continue to evolve. CrysTel Telecommunications has undergone several technological and administrative changes due to increase in competition within the telecommunications market. Within CrysTel there are various strong and weak departments that is affecting the company. In order for the company to implement a change these areas must first be identified and corrected. Once identified and corrected the change implementation may begin.

The leadership within CrysTel must complete a top-down review to successfully identify problem area. The successful leaders must understand the connection between change models, leadership styles, and management practices. Once the leaders have an understanding, then they must consider a leadership style to handle the change. In addition, a strategic plan must be created and possible resistance area and solutions must be identified.

A major implication of change at CrysTel is that the company wants to offer a wide range of telecommunications products and present a wide array regularly. The new products and changes to portfolios will affect the entire organization but the question can the company handle the change.

In the CrysTel simulation, environmental uncertainly ranks high. CrysTel is a telecommunications company therefore, technical breakthroughs are frequent. The demand for products and services is constant, but needs development and change quickly driven by consumer demands for new products and services. CrysTel wants to implement new technological offerings to its customers, but first must analyze the capability of the organization to cope with stressors produced from constant change.
