Summary Response:

There are professions in this country that used to hold a certain level of trust. For example, a doctor of medicine, more often than not, was automatically trusted by society. I believe this trust has withered in the last twenty or so years, because society as well as the perception of certain “professionals” have changed. The trust that was felt changed due to shocking and unbelievable acts that a “handful” of these professionals participated in. The Catholic Church was hit very hard when men, one after another, would step forward, stating that their childhood priest had molested them. A priest is a person that is supposed to guide one into the love and protection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Instead of guide these children they took advantage of the boy’s genuine trust and admiration they had for their priest. I believe that any...
