The Role of Government in Policy Making

The Congress of the United States of America established three branches of the government so that no one branch would have absolute power over the other two branches. The three branches work together, but have different responsibilities. The executive, legislative, and judicial branches each deal with a different area of the government. The third task would be to come up with solutions for the issue and next the agency would need to get a member of the legislature to back the agency and support the policy. The agency would need to make appearances at committee meetings in order to get legislators to back the bill or act. If the policy or act is passed the agency would then try to get funding to correct the issue and run programs addressing the issue.
