Statement of Purpose

Change is the only thing constant in this world. To handle change effectively and successfully one needs to have a sound academic foundation as well as practical implementation of this knowledge.

My good academic background is evident from the fact that I topped in my class till 8th and even after that was among the top 5. I was also honored by the title of Jack of All Trade in school. Even at college, I participated in various Intra –College competitions conducted at academic level and scored positions in the same.

One of my most distinguishing characteristics is the diversity of experiences I possess and my ability to learn new things quickly. Being from a business family, I always intended to become a businessman. But getting associated with technical domain, gave me a broader outlook, with varying degree of knowledge in a range of topics. It even provided a strong foundation to my analytical skills.

Besides my academics, I have been actively involved in sports, cultural & social activities. I had actively participated in various Intra and Inter college cultural gatherings. I volunteered myself for the noble cause of Blood Donation conducted by Rotary Blood Bank. I had managed the accounts and other purchasing requirements of the PG, where I stayed for 4 years. Such activities have taught me the power of teamwork and have enabled me sharpen my skills regarding “Public Relations & People Management”. I like playing cricket and was part of the team which ended up as runner-ups at an Intra-college Cricket Tournament.

I strongly believe that at NMIMS, one of the leading management institutes of the country, the professionally structured management program will provide me the opportunity to cultivate diverse managerial skill sets.
