Bible Essay on Truth

Truth is one of those easy to remember but hard to define words. It is one of those things that means so many different things and impacts so many different situations. Truth is something that means something different to everyone. Each person has their own representation of truth. The source of truth that people use comes from a variety of places. Some people, generally christians, view truth from the Bible. It is a source of absolute truth. Other people decide what is true based upon what they see. Because of this, the sociel culture has a humongous impact here. For example, If people watch T.V. that swears a lot, more people are likely to swear as a result of this.Sometimes, someone, always a higher authority, tells you it is true. The most likely instance of this is the Goverment deciding what is right and wrong for you. Even though there are many ways for people to deduce the truth from what they believe, it all comes down to one thing, what is truth and what makes certain views of truths more reliable than others.

Throughout this essay, I will try to explain three different areas in which a decision must be made on which something is true or not. In these situations, they are still relevant today and are still areas in which people have to make choices every day of their lives. These choices can not be an easy decision, then there is nothing to consider true or not. For example, If the Eagles win the superbowl, then it is easy to decide who the best team in the NFL is. The three topics I am going to discuss, share, then twist are a basic question about religeon, ethics, and government policies.

The first area which truth is a hard thing to figure out is in religeon. Religeon has a lot of very challenging topics. One topic that I am focusing on is that is it true that God is active today. As Christians, if we believe in the Bible and that it is true, we can use it as a resource for other beliefs. In the Bible, Colossions 1:17 says...
