As women and men or girls and boys gender is our social and legal status. How you express and feel about your gender would be known as a gender identity. Gender roles are determined by culture as to what does it mean to be masculine or feminine or to be a woman or man. Women or men is not just determined by our sex organs, it will include mix beliefs, charcteristics,or behaviors.

By embracing diversity it is a set up of conscious practices that will involve by understanding diversity is included not only in ways of being but as a way of knowing as well. For people to see how some of us see ourselves and how others perceive us.

Yes, I would agree and have to say that our concepts of gender and sex do contribute to our understanding of sexual orientation in many ways. As long as we have an understanding of what each gender is and what they provide, as ourselves we make the decision on who or what we want out of life.
