Decision Making Process

Life is a series of decisions. From the time we wake up in the morning until we go to bed at night we make decisions. Some decision may seem to be insignificant like what we wear or more complex like the profession that we chose. This paper will discuss both personal and professional decision that I have made and how these decision have brought me to this point in my life.

After I graduated from High School, I went to the University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla. Like many young people I did not fully appreciate the opportunity that I had at the time and did not put forth my best effort. I was content to get average grades. After a year and half I decision to just work at my uncles business and work in the accounting office. Then I was presented with the opportunity to move to Miami and be close to my aunt and my cousins. I was 21 years old at the time and this was the first time that I would be living completely on my own.

After living in Miami for two years I meet my first husband and got married at just dating for a month and half. I gave birth to my oldest daughter 11 months after getting married and I gave birth to my son 20 months after my daughter was born. Two years after my son was born we moved to Northwest Georgia due to the increase demand for bilingual people. This seven years that I was married to my first husband where very difficult and stressful. The decision to get married so soon after meeting my ex left me in the dark about his lack of a work ethic and unwillingness to help with the kids and the home. I eventually remarried and had my second daughter.

Over the past 12 years that I have lived in Northwest Georgia I made the decision that I would seek jobs that created the most opportunities to increase my personal knowledge and that would give me the ability to improve my resume by becoming versatile and proficient.
