Marketing Laptop Computers

The product that I will be writing about in this paper is laptop computers. I will be explaining a lot about laptop computers but to name a few things I will go over some of the main features of laptop computers, the price ranges of laptop computers, the places laptop computers are sold and different promotions that some retailers offer when you purchase a laptop computer from them.

The features that customers care most about really depends on the type of consumer. You have to think about the consumer lifestyle which is “a mode of living that is identified by how people spend their time and resources, what they consider important in their environment and what they think of themselves and the world around them (Kerin, Hartley & Rudelius, 2011)/”

A customer that travels with their laptop a lot, possibly a business man or woman for example, will want a smaller screen size to make it more portable and larger memory and hard drive so that they can store plenty of documents and they would want the computer to have a fast processor so that it loads the internet and documents fast as well. Some one that is a gamer for example, would want the largest screen size available so they can see the game better along with an amazing graphics card, a lot and I mean a lot of memory and hard drive so they can store their games in their laptop and a fast processor so that it loads their games quickly without a lot of loading. Another type of customer is just someone that uses the laptop for basic everyday use or as a college student. They would want the computer to have a decent screen size, along with a good amount of memory and hard drive and a good speed on the processor so that their web pages load quickly.

The key features and benefits of any product can be better or worse than those of competing products, it really just depends on...
