Abstract

The fundamentals of business management is a developmental and learning process, that with proper planning, organization, direction, and staffing a manager can use these skills to lead their employees, soldiers and members towards the ultimate goal.

Functions of Management

Planning is the unending procedure to build up the company/businesses assignment and to determine the job will get done. The process in which to plan, especially in a management position is a long, yet rewarding process which all boils down to getting to one specific goal, no matter what way you choose to go. Every plan will determine the outcome, whether good or bad.

Organizing is setting up the in-house executive arrangement of the business. The center point is on distribution, bringing together, and making sure you maintain control of the tasks you set out within the company/business. Normally in this role, you would distribute the organizational chart and delegate responsibility starting from the management trickling down.

Then comes the staffing and filling of positions that need to be filled. We would also have to make sure they are qualified and reliable enough to maintain their positions and are competent enough to do their jobs. We would have to recruit to train the personnel we hire and pay them for their services rendered. For example, in the military, the government hired and had jobs for all I have said and more. They pay you to train you so you may eventually train others.
