The Salvation Army sponsors various disaster services.  The Salvation Army web site listed several different objectives and goals for a better disaster relief service.  Their missions, objectives, and goals are easy to follow and to understand.  Their goals of service are to provide material, emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.  Their objectives would be to provide food, water, cleanup, shelter, handle donations, along with providing spiritual and emotional help. The Salvation Army’s mission is to spread the word of Jesus Christ; as well as, meeting human needs in the Lords name without any discrimination.

Every service that the Salvation Army has is to deliver nourishment for all human needs, and to provide shelter and emergency services. There is not much of a requirement for a person to be edible to receive service; however, one does have to live in the area that has been struck by disaster. 

For the Salvation Army to run smoothly they have to make sure that all of their beneficiaries receive services such as their administrative system which includes: office support and clerical staff, purchasing and accounting, reports and statistics, documentation for authorities, trained volunteers, and other stuff members. 

The Salvation Army is a nonprofit program. It ran strictly on donations. For example: volunteer workers, profit from their thrift stores, and other such donations. 

I believe that this program is very helpful. My reason is because they are always there to make sure that everyone who needs help gets help.  To ensure that people in need are receiving the help the Salvation Army is mobile and can come to them.  This mobility includes hydration services and meals on wheels. This insures everyone is getting food post-disaster.  Members of the Salvation Army, along with volunteers, plan and go out of their way to make sure that the people in need of emergency help are receiving it.
