Challenges Facing Society

Many people face challenges in life. Overcoming challenges can be difficult. Generational poverty, aging elderly with the lack of access to employment, and women’s facing difficulties in life and employment become important perspectives and successful approaches in overcoming these challenges.

Poverty within a family usually produces poverty within the next generation. Escaping the cycle of generational poverty is a hard strategy to implement but when educated and influenced correctly can be done. Generational poverty is influenced by the surrounding poverty being accepted by each generation. Education and relationships with those who are teaching within the community educate children on growing into successful professionals . Strategies for correcting generational poverty among students depend on the teachers and their commitment to teach and educate the students. One of the most important influences among students come from teachers and their relationships with the parents and their students. Experience and genes influence learning and a student’s ability to make a living for those in poverty to make a living later in life. It is important teachers have a relationship with the students and an understanding of a child’s home life structure, e.g., what these children face when they go home, the difficulties they face, and their home life environment (Films Media Group, 2006). Choosing not to have an education is a major reason for continued poverty. A family could stop a student from being successful by holding the child back with disrespect of education and success. Success for a child is their home, their peers, and the environment surrounding them. Engaging children with experiences of what they could achieve and how they go about successfully achieving a more productive and lucrative life through learning must be taught with respect to child’s current environment, social standing, and family.
