WOMAN AND GOD

A long time ago this would existed without woman. Only God and man that he created in his image trod the length and breath of the universe. Nobody knows how Adam felt during his solitary period. But whatever the case, life in solitude could not have been a bed of roses for him and that was why God in his infinite love created the other specie of man- the woman, called Eve.

Since the creation of woman, her companionship has been a mixed blessing to the world. For whatever turbulent time or otherwise man has gone through has always been attributed to the direct or indirect machination of the woman folk.

However, this is not the to say that woman have not made significant contributions that are edifying to the existence of mankind. Rather, they have been the very pivot upon which the continuous existence of the world revolves especially; they have to large extent fulfilled Cod’s primary aim of creating them as worthy companions, ones whom men should be able to walk the road together with.

A cursory look at the world will reveal to us woman who had at one time or the other, taken the world by storm and left behind it a past worthy of remembrance or one that should best be forgotten in the garbage heap of history one cannot but remember woman like Helen of troy, Mary slessor, Florence nightingale and just recently indira Ghandi of India and Margaret thratcher of Britain, the iron lady that melted as rare proven examples, also the holy bible contains evidence of good and bad woman; woman who left their footprints on the sands of time and those who will be remembered for their terrible exploits concerning the life they led while o earth.
