1. Introduction.

The major function of human resource management is to increase the effectiveness and contribution of employees in the attainment of organizational goals and objectives. Formal performance management and appraisal systems become the main aspects of effective work of an organization. Performance appraisal is necessary for every employee and for the company in general. Performance management and appraisal systems help to develop effective culture and improve the company’s performance and business planning. They have turned to be the best methods to enhance employee’s wish and capacity for work.

Formal performance management is based on the assumption that employees are individuals with their own needs and goals.
