Wal-Mart has been tremendously successful in accomplishing its aim of becoming the number one retail store throughout the world. Executives, managers, and supervisors for Wal-Mart must plan, organize, lead, and control each element of the business in order to protect its success. There are aspects; internally and externally, that can affect these four roles within an organization. The upper level management's duty is to take these elements into contemplation to make sure that the business will be triumphant. Wal-Mart's foundation was built on sincerity, equality, reverence and honesty. They make every effort to protect their establishment by bringing these traits to the job on a daily basis.

Wal-Mart has constantly been a value supported morally led organization. The three essential viewpoints that have made Wal-Mart one of the top organizations in the United States are great customer service, respect to all individuals, and the yearning for excellence. In this paper, Team A will identify the internal and external drivers of innovation for Wal-Mart, and describe how they help the company in terms of meeting its organizational goals

Internal and external drivers of innovation are used to differentiate companies from one another. Wal-Mart has positioned their company to be a company that helps people around the world save money and live better. Through innovation Wal-Mart is “creating a seamless experience to let customers shop anytime and anywhere online, through mobile devices and in stores” (http://corporate.walmart.com/our-story/our-business/). Wal-Mart has also opened mini Wal-Mart’s for the convenience of customers only wanting to access their pharmacy and/or grocery department.
