Nowadays, in a highly technological society, human productivity is made more efficient through the development of electronic gadgets. Now, with the advent of such modernization in education, one way to globalize the process of research is to realize that technology is advancing at an incredibly fast pace. Computers are not confined to being used for entertainment but its role in education is also vast. It is important to have a computerized system that can make different transaction being done in the library to become more efficient and easier to use especially in the TD & S Hope Christian Academy, Montessori Professional Collage.

TD & S Hope Christian Academy initially located at West Fairview, Quezon City is one of the pioneering school in the Philippines. Within the campus is the school’s library, wherein the system used by the school is done manually. That’s why the school wanted to have an automated system for the fast delivery of research and information. The proposed system for the said school helps to lessen the manual works being done in the library. The library system focuses on the checking-in and checking-out of the books, students who have a penalty fee, and inventory process of all the books in their library.

Montessori Professional College is a private school located in Antipolo City. The librarian of the said College still used card catalogues in searching for some books. The proposed Computerized System is designed to improve the method used in a much accurate and reliable way. The borrowing and returning of books will be much easier, and the librarian would not take much time in producing all the records because of the inventory process inside the system.
