“Final Project”

“Kiss moko”

The movie “Kiss moko” portrays 4 values in Filipino drama and film. The first value is “Maganda and Maputi”, in the movie all the main characters are white in complexion there are no dark complexioned main character in the movie. The main characters are Dingdong Dantes, Antoinette Taus, Sunshine Dizon, Polo Ravales, and Katya Santos these are some of the cast in the movie that have fair skin tone. It is really true that movies should have fair skinned tone actors/actresses to have more viewers because it fair complexioned actors/actresses is really pleasing and not very beautiful in our eyes. We seldom watch movies or teleseryes with dark complexioned actors/actresses except if they are really beautiful but most of the time we watch actors/actresses with fair complexion.

The second value is “Masaya ang may Palabas”, in the movie the “Kiss moko” depicted a love story that will make us excited sad and happy in the same time these film made us happy even though it is almost impossible that you will find a random named man in some place like a university and he is your block mate. The movie really entertains us with their different twist of the story and they relationship with each other. They picked the right actors for the movie that’s why it is a great movie to watch. Even though impossible things cannot happen in the real life in movies it is possible and it makes us happy watching it.

The third value is “MabutiangInaapi”, in the story the Antoinette Taus is being being bullied and telling her stories that Dingdong Dantes is still in love with his past girlfriend and that’s why they broke up and after her father saw the message sent by Dingdong his father was convinced to forgive Dingdong and he allowed them to see again and they become true lovers.
