Gender inequality can be overcome via education. Discuss.

Gender inequality refers as the discriminated perceptions or ideas towards a person solely on gender itself and this stereotype exists even till this day. Women are considered to be inferior and men as the dominant gender. In fact, this phenomenon can be observed in numerous regions within Arabian countries as women are unable to reveal themselves in public and unable to have their own life unlike men does. Gender inequality can be overcome and one of the ways to do so is through education.

First of all, knowledge is power. In this modern era, having information in one’s mind is a lot more powerful than one’s wealth. As long as there is knowledge, everybody possesses the capability to change the course of life and history, even the society itself. Women can be someone more than just housewives or dowries in weddings, they can be something much bigger and stronger because women are not much different than men. In fact, there are plenty of examples on women role models throughout history in multiple fields like entertainment, politics and economics. In schools, all boys and girls should be educated equally and treated the same way as boys. The equal right is the same in punishments too. Educators can also observe the ways girls learn and use them as an advantage because it is useful for them to learn efficiently and effectively. With education, women will gain the opportunity to stand tall among men and be able to decide their own future with their own knowledge.

Secondly, education includes in moral and ethnic teaching as well. Moral education is compulsory to students because they will learn to differentiate things whether if it is correct or vice versa. More than that, moral supports their inner attitudes which enhance them to be applicable in real life.
