1. Introduction

What is school canteen

(I) In the simple words, the school canteens can be defined as have a primary role in providing food services to students and the wider school community. Also, it will be provided the opportunities for students to make informed consumer decisions. And it can be a part of residence hall or some available places that serves the numbers of meals to students and the school teaching staff.

(II) Furthermore, the operation of a canteen in a school provides opportunities to complement and support students learning by reinforcing teachers messages about the food, usually involved in several main parts, which is canteen manager, canteen staff, and canteen operators, etc.

(III) However, the school canteens and other school food services are important educational resources. They have an important role in the provision of food to students and the school community as well as being an integral part of the school environment. The school canteen should reflect the educational goals of the school and support and complement student learning.

Main Procedures of canteens

(I). Any arrangement for the operation of a canteen in a school should be governed by an agreement between the school and the canteen operator.
