1. What are the three basic Calendars included in MS Project and what are the default values of each? They are Standard, which is usually set as an 8 hour day, 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with no holidays. 24 Hour which is from 12 am to 12 am every night of the week and Night Shift which is 12am to 3am, 4am to 8am and 11pm to 12am every day except Sunday which is a nonworking day.

2. What is the difference between a base Calendar and a resource calendar? Base Calendars define the working days and working hours for a project or a set of resources. Resource calendars define the working days and working hours for a specific resource.

3. Why schedule on project meeting after completion of the last task, Test System? I think that it is scheduled so that you can look over the completed project and make sure you have met the deadlines and stayed within the budget.

4. Give an example of when you would assign a 24-hour calendar to a resource. An example would be if you had equipment resources that continuously work on a task.

5. If you were doing a senior project, what would be the base calendar you would use for students working on the project and what adjustments would you make to it? I think that I would use the night Shift Calendar but make the hours from 6-9 because I work during the day.
