Abstract

When we think about organizations we normally do not think about Organizational behavior or culture as to different aspects. We tend to imagine them to be similar and mean the same thing but in truth they are have different meanings. When we think about diversity we tend to only think of race or gender and forget that there are also other background factors to consider such as age, religions, and culture. Communication has become a necessity in the day-to-day work environments of organizations, managers are constantly learning new ways to communicate and organizations are updating their resources and training staff to better interact with customers and each other.

Organizational Behavior is defined as “the study and application of knowledge about how people, individuals, and groups act in organizations” (Clark, 2009). It focuses on how the individuals within an organization respond to rules and procedures set forth by the company. How individuals respond to their immediate supervisors and managers and how well they can adapt to work environmental changes.
