Kristen’s Cookie Company Mission Statement “Born from a hunger to feed the student body and the craving brain”. If only there was a company like this in college, I’m sure our student body would have been in heaven. This case study will evaluate the preliminary design for the Company’s production process to make policy and pricing designs, equipment needed, how many orders can be accepted, and whether the business could even be profitable. We’re hoping after we complete this case, we find that the company would be profitable.

As a group, we have decided to put together a Service Triangle to better help show whose all involved in Kristen’s Cookie Company. Below is the service triangle which involves, the service strategy, the customer, the people and their system.

After reading the entire case, we also realized we should provide a Process Flow Chart so it makes it easier to understand what is going on in the case. This process flow chart will make it easier to see what it is needed and what it takes to produce the final product. Below is the process flow chart we have put together to better understand what Kristen’s Cookie Company is trying to explain in their case.

In order to launch business, the need to set prices and rules for accepting orders. The issues will only get resolved after the company gets started and trying out different ways of producing the cookies. Before the company gets started, they should want a preliminary plan with as much detail as possible so that the calculations of how much time will be devoted to the business each night and how much they can expect to make. Therefore, answering the specific questions below will only help the situation become a little clearer.
