Navex Global is a service based company that offers a wide range of ethics and compliance based services. Headquartered in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Navex Global serves more than half of the Fortune 1000 companies. It has 8,000 customers, including Siemens, Union Bank, Jamba Juice, Charles Schwab and Sony (Navex Global). In 2012, The Riverside Company, a private equity firm, combined PolicyTech, ELT, Inc., EthicsPoint, Inc., Global Compliance Services, Inc., to form Navex Global. These acquisitions immediately made Navex Global a big player in the governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) industry. Navex Global’s competitors include Sirius Solutions, LRN and Online Employment Systems. Their ethics based services include policy management, advisory services, whistleblowing training/reporting course, case management, online training courses, third party risk management and awareness programs.

Navex Global’s PolicyTech policy management software, according to Navex Global’s website “helps organizations communicate and track changes to policies and procedures across their businesses” (Navex Global). Previously mentioned, The Riverside Company acquired PolicyTech to form a single source for ethics and compliance services. The policy management service helps clients with their codes of conduct and other company policies. Navex Global refers to this service as “PolicyTech policy management software.” Navex Global identifies it as a service because you are given 24 hours access to a PolicyTech software expert. Essentially, the PolicyTech software is just a product with the addition of a help desk. PolicyTech policy management software creates, approves, and distributes codes of conduct and other policies for their clients. Navex Global’s PolicyTech service aims to solve the issue of creating and managing ethical based policies.
