ABC Furniture Stores (ABCFS) is contracting Joe’s Delivery Service (JDS) to deliver our home furnishings to our customers daily, Monday to Saturday. It is ABC’s goal to ensure we provide each customer with a white glove delivery and setup experience. We recognize that our last point on contact with each customer is during the delivery experience and it is important to us that this be a positive experience for our customers.

The terms of the contract are as follows:-

Vehicle and Staff Requirments:-

* All JDS trucks will be logoed with ABCFS approved POP signs for the period of the contract.

* All JDS staff will be required to wear the uniforms supplied by ABCFS. Three sets of uniforms will be provided to each staff member. Each staff is to ensure that they are presentably attired when entering a customer’s home.

* Each delivery staff will be required to wear steel toe boots at all times during their shift. It will be the responsibility of JDS to ensure their staff have the required footwear.

* All delivery staff should be aware that when they engage in a delivery, they are representing ABCFS and they should behave professionally at all times.

* JDS will have three staff on each truck, one driver and two helpers.

* JDS will be required to check each morning for the number of scheduled deliveries for the following today, so that they ensure they have sufficient staff and trucks available.

* ABCFS will not exceed two truckloads of deliveries per day. Only exception will be during the November and December, where JDS will be required to have a third delivery truck and staff available. ABCFS does not require the third truck to be logoed because it may be a rental truck leased for this time period.

* It will be the responsibility of JDS to provide their staff with the necessary safety equipment such as lifting straps, floor sleds, and hydraulic lifts to ensure an injury free work environment.
