Business research is used in all areas of companies today. Research is needed to problem solve within a business and used to come up with a positive solution, there are processes that should be followed to achieve the best result possible. Communication in the work-place or in our personal lives is a necessary aspect of life and this paper will discuss the benefits of learning from a one-on-one teaching environment versus from being in a learning team environment.

Business research can be defined as an investigation of information that will lead to a decision making process. The processes followed when conducting business research are planning, obtaining, analyzing, and disseminating information. Business research is an organized analysis that will provide information to help guide people to make the correct business decisions. The first step when conducting research is to identify the problem that needs to be solved and outline the alternatives for effective decision making. The next step is to gather information, analyze, and determine a solution on how to resolve the problem. It is important to test all possible solutions so that the correct information is used and the problem is resolved effectively. The purpose of business research and following the processes that will lead to the correct solution is to obtain the best result for the business and avoid any further problems.
