Introduction

Europcar International was founded in Paris in 1949 and is today the largest car rental company in Europe.

Europcar Group is fully owned by the French private equity fund Eurazeo.

Europcar today operates a fleet of over 200,000 vehicles at 3,600 rental sites locations in 160 different countries covering Europe, North America, The Middle East, Africa, Latin America, the Indian Ocean, the Caribbean and Asia Pacific, through its own operators, franchisees and partnerships.

Europcar operates worldwide its own brands Europcar® and InterRent, which is its low cost brand. It also operates the National and Alamo brands in EMEA.

The distribution of revenue between business and leisure clients is 50/50.

Almost 40% of revenue is generated from airport.

The group puts customers at the heart of its mission whether it is innovation or service. With over 6500 employees of the group committed to delivering customer satisfaction.

Europcar is actively promoting Corporate and Environmental social responsibility.

In 2013, the Europcar made a major move launching a new brand – InterRent – and entering into a new partnership with US car rental provider Advantage. The company has also repositioned itself as a broader provider of mobility services with its new slogan “Moving your way”. The company says that “Moving your way” conveys its total commitment to the customer and to shaping a better future for customers’ mobility.

My role

My role as an Assistant Night Manager includes, but is not limited to:

✓ The supervision and development of staff to the efficient and cost effective operation of the station. To ensure a high level of customer service.

✓ To promote and sell our Company’s products and services, achieving and exceeding personally agreed targets.
