For SP4, you are responsible for developing a case study of your project. This case study should be developed in such a way that a person not familiar with the project could obtain a clear understanding of the project. Your case study paper should be separated into two sections: Project Management & Construction Methods

Section 1: Project Management

This section should include a complete description of the project management challenge specific to this project and the strategies and actions of the management team that were executed in order to overcome these challenges. Include your observations and analysis for all relevant aspects including project organization, planning, monitoring/control, and post-project learning. Consider situations and project challenges unique to your project and include all relevant details such that someone unfamiliar with the project could gain a complete understanding from your case study.

Section 2: Construction Methods

This section should include a complete start-to-finish explanation of how your project was built. Your text will be very important, but it is assumed that this section will also include photos, plans, diagrams, models, and other graphical means of communicating just how the construction activities were executed. Consider the discussions in class concerning the construction of the Yeh Student Center and attempt to order Section 2 in this fashion, fully communicating the choice of each building system, how each system was constructed and how it fit into the entirety of the overall construction project.

When writing your case study, please ensure that your narrative flows, and that your explanations are logically consistent, well supported, and clear to the person reading your report. If the project you are working on contains proprietary information, or any sensitive information, you should protect this information as requested by the project manager working on the project.
