Your thesis statement: Obesity is an epidemic among young children and adolescents. The lifestyle a person choose on their habits can decrease their health.

Outline: Obesity and how it could affect a child or even a person’s life.

I. Childhood obesity is a very serious disease that affect our children and adolescents. When a child is overweight it could lead to several health problems.

II. What can childhood obesity do to impact a child’s health?

A. The more over weight a child is the like hood of health problems.

1. People who is overweight is considered overweight if a person is 20% more than there height and weight.

2. Heart diseases and strokes is a leading cause of death in overweight people.

B. Diabetes in obesity

1. Obesity is a major cause of type 2 diabetes and it usually come in adulthood but it is shown to occur in the youth.

2. Sleep apnea and respiratory problems occurs when a person stop breathing in their sleep for a short period of time. The respiratory problems occur because obesity adds more weight on yhe chest walls.

III. What is the cause of obesity?

A. Childhood obesity is usually associated with eating too many calories and statured fatty foods.
