1. Introduction
This Software Requirements Specification (SRS) document is intended to provide a detailed description of the hardware and software requirements for installing OpenOffice. This document will also cover the basic functionality of OpenOffice as well as the intended end user.
PurposeThis document’s purpose is to describe the resources, both hardware and software, that are needed to install the OpenOffice product in on a Linux machine. It is intended for all individuals participating in and supervising the install of said software product.
1.2 ScopeThe product to be installed is OpenOffice. OpenOffice is a suite of applications which allows the creation, edit and review of documents in several formats including text, spreadsheet & slideshow documents as well as database files.
