Using Kotter’s model, identify the three (3) most significant errors made out of all of the change stories presented and describe the ramifications of those mistakes

The first momentous endeavor I’d like to talk about is Kodak’s progression into the digital expertise period. I believe the Kotter’s error that speaks about their situation most is, “failing to create short-term wins”. While Kodak feels as if they were making the accurate assessment, reference their big objective…that joined with inadequate preparation was ultimately a recipe for catastrophe. Also, by not executing a progression of short-term triumphs the staff and shareholders were both left to speculate what is indeed deemed victory. If those points of references had been set any apprehension from both of the abovementioned parties could have been deterred or wiped out altogether.

The second noteworthy inaccuracy was made by McDonalds. I believe the Kotter’s error that applies to their situation is, “Allowing too much complacency”. As an ascertained and well known brand, it is easy for trade leaders such as McDonalds to get content. As times revolutionize so does the customer. Today’s civilization is more mindful of health hazards, and now more than ever it is all the rage to watch your weight and work out. As a top fast-food chain McDonalds should have been ahead of the development or movement by ways of study and progression. Their contentment resulted in complaints and distinctiveness predicaments that could have likely been prevented through proper Research & Development.

The third blunder that will now be conferred was made by IBM. The Kotter error they made was, “failing to create a sufficiently powerful guiding coalition”. While no one could have foreseen how rapidly the internet era would take off, those in the business have to cleverly use and...
