In my case assignment I will be talking about Just in time (JIT) products being produced at the warehouse are made and shipped out to factories in a timely manner. Also, what the recommendations for future operations companies can utilize the maximum use of the warehouse when parts are made and stored for rapid distribution.

With Chrysler being one of the most popular names in the world has made its name for itself, One of the things that I have read in my research is how the items produced for authorized dealers to request parts and have them delivered in a timely manner has its ups and downs as it would be easier to produce parts and store them in an available area. Utilizing area in the warehouse to store parts ready for customers to order and ship them out in a timely manner would make more sense. This will attract the attention of vendors receiving the parts from Chrysler’s warehouse instead of waiting for the parts to be created making a slower process to deliver. Timing is a key to success if the parts are ready for shipping instead of adding more time to the delivery date.

Maximizing the warehouse to the fullest might give the manufacturer more time and lead way if establishing parts’ storage bins or storage areas and predetermining which parts are being requested more often from the authorized dealers or vendors. Producing high quality parts should be the number thing for the manufacturer. Establishing a good supply system for parts ordered will and distributed should be an easy system if employees are trained to route the parts through the right channels.
